Not sure what to say?

David, your mom was the soft spoken epitome of grace, class, style, and beauty. When she spoke- so softly and surely- you could almost hear a pin drop... students wanted to hear what she had to say. She was one of the best teachers I ever had and definitely one of my most favorite. I am sad to learn of your mom´s passing. Sending my deepest condolences along with prayers for you and your family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Will be truly miss live across the street from her 48 years cornelia an clifford grand daughter Jacqueline morgan

Mrs. Willard was an elegant woman who was my very excellent and inspiring 9th grade English teacher at Frost Park High School. I will never forget her class in every meaning of the word. My heartfelt condolences to her family upon her passing. Nena Cokinos Marshall

Mrs. Willard was not only a great teacher but an amazing human being. Her presence at Forest Park HS touched so many minds & lives during a difficult social time. Every word, every thought exuded class & intelligence. She never accepted any excuse for anything less than our best. Tough, fair & nurturing .❤ The imprint she left on me has stayed throughout my life.
She never missed a chance to tell all of us just how proud she was of her family. Carry on her legacy with pride. She...

Some people have little to no impact on a child's life. Others have a negative impact on a child's life. Still others have a positive impact on a child's life. Patricia had a positive impact on hundreds of lives and was one of the most influential teachers I ever had. Before her class, all I could do was tell a story. After her class, I could prove a point. In fact, I learned so much structure from Pat, my writing changed, my story-telling changed and she might be the biggest reason I...

Mrs. Willard was my ninth grade English teacher in 1984, and I loved her because she was the picture of grace, so beautiful, elegant, and dignified that she made me feel elevated to be in her presence. As is the case with many students, I had NO idea what an intriguing and full life she had already lived by the time she taught the West Brook class of 1988 as freshmen, nor did I understand that I was interacting daily with a hero who shattered glass ceilings for women and particularly women of...

While working at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas I encountered Mrs. Willard and Dr. William Wormley who gave me some great advice back in the 90s and the book that she wanted me to have and read, I still have that book today thank you Miss Willard for all that you have done and the Legacy that you have left. To God be the glory for your life and may you rest in heaven amongst the other angels now that you are one of them :-) Rev. Stephen Mayfield, Sr.
