Pat was my mother's roommate in college and her best friend. Pat and Harriet remained friends all their lives. They loved to tell and re-tell their adventures and shenanigans as young girls away from home for the first time. Pat was a source of joy and admiration for my mother. And it was with pure delight that their daughters, Sally and Becky, also became friends who loved to tell and re-tell their mothers' stories. I was one of her students at Ainsworth Grade School. I had her for home room in 7th and 8 th grade, 1972, and 1973. She was very stylishly, very nice, and treated school like a business. She was a wonderful teacher.

Our condolences to the Wright family on the passing of your matriarch, Pat. Knowing Pat was to love her. On the few occasions that we got to spend time with her it was easy to see that she was a special lady.
