Patrick "Bruce" Barreca

I had known Bruce Barecca for nearly thirty five years. My family had a food concession down at Circle Factory Outlet Center, in Manasquan for twenty seven of those years, when Bruce was general manager there. He was a fine man, a very close friend and a great mentor. My family and I will always be grateful to him, for all that he did for us, and for me. He was an officer and a gentleman and he will be terribly missed.

Aunt Julie, Bruce, Mark and family my deepest sympathy for your loss. Uncle Bruce was a great man, who is now dancing with the angels and watching over you. Love

My sympathy is with you and your family. My memories go back to the Carlton Sweet shop when Bruce took over from Jerry Krassner. I was the candy man for Saffer Simon in those days in the early 1950's for the next 40 years, I have the most fond memories of Bruce.

Bruce was a guiding light in my life and an anchor of reality for my dreams...from the Carlton Sweet Shop days to my graduation from Infantry Officer's school and beyond. I could only be sad if I had never known him. I pray for all of you in your time of sorrow.
