Not sure what to say?

When we moved into S. St. Paul a few years ago, we checked out our new prospective neighbors. I ended up talking with Pat for about an hour and said "this is the house" and moved in shortly after that.

It was nice to talk about the kids and fishing every time you went out to get the paper, took out the trash, etc.... We went on a few fishing trips together and always had a great time.

He will be greatly missed and God Bless. Aaron, if you want to go out fishing some time,...

Marv, Sandy, and family

I am very sorry for your loss. i didn't know pat that well but i will always remember his big beautiful smile. Just know that he's in a better place. Love you all very much.

Marv, Sandy and Family,
We are so sorry and deeply saddened for your loss.
So many memories of growing up together. From going to school and NOT going to school, to the time spent together working for Grandpa Bruce. Pat was a true friend who could always be counted on for his sense of humor and happy-go-lucky attitude. I will miss his infectious smile and the way he affectionately called me Pinoch.
Pat will be sadly missed by me and the whole Bruce family.
Love,
Scott and...

Marv, Sandy and Family,

I am deeply saddened and sorry for your loss. Although it has been years, I will always remember Pat's contagious smile and how he warmed the hearts of many...including mine.

Abundant Blessings,

Melanie

Dear Birkeland Clan,

I am so sorry for your loss. I feel a special connection to all of us who grew up together in the "hood" and will miss Pat very much. His name is still carved in the bedroom window sill, from when I had a crush in him. He liked Kim at the time.

God Bless

Will Always remember his smile .

To the Bireland family,
I'm very sadden to hear about the passing of Pat. Pat was a great friend with alot of heart. I'm very greatful to Pat because he introduced me to you and the House's, who are good friends now. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.

My Sincere Sympathies to Pats Family.
He had such a beautiful smile and spirit.
My prayers to all of you and may God Bless.

Pat loved the outdoors and has now found a place even greater. I submitted a photo of Pat from one of our trips to the BWCA in 1982 (we appeared lost, but Pat had the map and assured us we were ok). Our thoughts and prayers are with him and you - The entire Birkeland family and friends.
