He was a guy! Michael and I would hangout with him! Happy laughing playful!

Pat and I were roommates at VMI for three years. We both started VMI a little older than our classmates and shared much more in common. He had a love for classic rock, cooking, and passion for doing good in the world which continued in his adulthood. He was an amazingly good person who loved his mom, was proud of his brothers and sister. He was the kindest man I ever knew. I last talked with Pat in July and then I deployed and only now found out about this... I will miss him...

I had the pleasure of working with Patrick on several clean transportation programs. He had a wealth of knowledge about the alternative fuels world, and I'm lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from him. I'll miss his amiability and calm, balanced approach to problem-solving. Sending love to his family and friends.

Pat was my first crush and my prom date. To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. Pat was a terrific guy, tons of fun, sweet and happy. We spent hours on the (corded) phone one summer. Such great memories. My thoughts are with you. Pat will be missed by so many.

My heart is broken. When I hired Patrick I knew I had chosen a one of a kind. He was so good. He took on the challenge of developing NYSERDA´s alternative fuel vehicles program and did it so well, paving the way for success. I adored Patrick for his work ethic, creativity, and good humor. Rest in Peace my friend.

Patrick was as cheerful as he was knowledgeable to work with. He inherited a fledgling program when Joe retired and "steered" it successfully. I am shocked and saddened by this news. My condolences to his family and Godspeed, Patrick.
