Read MoreI am so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Boyd will always be, without a doubt, my favorite teacher. I was his student in the late 60s. But came back to visit many times. It was truly a gift to be in his class. He had a great sense of humor and made learning fun. I think about him often.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I just heard about it and it's tearing at my heart. I always thought of Pat as my mentor and good friend. Working with him gave me the patience to teach as long as I have. I am sure he is painting a new picture in heaven. God Bless and keep you all.

Patrick Boyd will be missed by all his students of 30+ years passed, including me. I had him in Maplewood Junior High School 1970-71, and my sister three years later. A great loss to those who will not have the privilege of his fine class.

I had Mr. Boyd as an art teacher at Maplewood Junior High School in the early 70s. What a wonderful man and a great artist. He will greatly missed.
