Not sure what to say?

I recently recommended Pat to an acquaintance with the remnants of a brain injury - knowing (aside from all his amazing traits) he was the most brilliant PT I have come across, only to find out today he had passed away months ago. Though I hadn't spoken to Pat in many years, I always held him in high regard and have so many dear memories of him. This breaks my heart, and for his family and close friends, I can only imagine... I send you my kindest regards and thoughts of peace.... Elyse

I only knew Pat as a young child. He was the older brother that I never had. We lived next door to the Brodys on Scott Ave in Syracuse from 1966 - 1971. The last time I saw Pat was in 1971 when I was 8 and he was 10. My sisters Kathy and Liz played with Karen and I played with Pat and sometimes Sheila. Pat was two years older than me and a much bigger kid. I have a few funny stories. I can't remember what I did yesterday, but I remember a few things from over 40 years ago. Pat and I...

A loving friend.

I only knew Pat for a few months but it felt like a lifetime. He was a loving and gentle soul and cared so much for mankind. I considered him to be a good friend and I was shocked by the terrible news. My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved him. He will be truly missed. He already is.

Pat at his home in Bedford, VA Sept 2009

My deepest condolences to the Brody family for your loss. I hadn't heard from Pat since he left Bedford. He came to mind today as I googled Linkedin to get his current info and found this very sad news of his passing. Pat was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. His compassion for people made any stranger feel welcomed. I will be forever grateful for his friendship, humor and all that he shared. He was a loving soul and will be truly missed.

I am so sad to hear of Pat's death. He was a fellow PT, who always had a ready smile and time to talk. His life was too short

I feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to have crossed paths with Pat. He was a dear friend, a great listener, he helped me through some difficult times, very grounded and always had the right words to comfort me. He had a calmness about him, like a big Angel. I called him my Ironman. I will miss him dearly and my deepest sympathy go out to all his friends and family, he will be missed. P.S. -- Say hi to mom in heaven... I feel like you already know her. ~*~
