Patrick Burns

Pat was a good friend. We stayed in touch dince we worked together in the 80s at Old Natioal Bank having perodic lunches. Pat and I and our boys had dinner once a year at the PI sports dinner for many years. Pat was a wonderful caing person and I will miss our conversations.

I met Pat through his Board membership of part of the Providence Health System of which I was the Chief Executive. He was a thoughtful Board member and had ideas he wished adopted. He was so tactful, more likely to pull you to one side and say, ”another way to look at this problem, would be so and so... “. He was incredibly respectful and knew our jobs were tough. But, he knew he was on the Board for a reason and he never lacked the courage to get his point across.
