Not sure what to say?

What a special man. I had the privilege of knowing him through high school and college.I will never forget how he touched my life.

My deepest sympathy

Father Cahill worked very closely with me [A.D. at Hersey H.S.] I feel very privileged to have known him, and feel he was one of the most outstanding individuals I have ever known.

To the family of Fr. Pat Cahill and the entire Viatorian Community, I offer my condolences and pray that at this time of sorrow, God watches over each of you and all of us who had the extreme pleasure of knowing such a great man, priest, educator and friend. Starting in 1963 as my religion teacher at SVHS, then as athletic director and for the next 39 years as a friend, I had the opportunity to see Pat always putting others before himself and teaching by example. Pat, you will be missed...

From George,Donna and Rylee Alewelt.
Fr. Pat was simply the best. The funeral here in Rochester was a powerful tribute to a man who will always be in our hearts.

Many "Crank" stories will continue to warm the hearts of the legions of friends near and far. His positive influence will be with us always. God Bless his soul!

On behalf of the Balinski family we sincerely express our deep regrets on the passing of Father "Crank" Cahilll. He will always be remembered as a compassionate man who served God and the entire Viatorian family with a sincere conviction of placing others first before self. He will truly be missed!

My sincere condolences to the family. Fr. Pat is one of those people that is remembered as "Unforgettable."

In 1954 I was a young high school sophomore at Cathedral Boys High School in Springfield, IL when "Brother" Cahill was my History teacher.

I will remember him as a warm, helpful, and caring person. He will be missed.

On behalf of my wife Lynn and our two children Chris & Kelly, who were christened by Fr. Cahill, our condolences. Raymond Maher, Class of 1964.

We send our sincere sympathy and prayers to the family, friends and entire St. Viator community at the loss of such a great man.
Sincerely,
The Currie Family
