Not sure what to say?

Nona,Patrice and family, We are very sad to hear about Pat´s passing. He was a kind and generous man with a wonderful sense of humor. He was a true gentleman with all the qualities of a great teacher and his students loved him for it. The world is an emptier place without him. Tom and I will always remember you both as the warmest and most welcoming neighbors we ever had. We enjoyed the time we spent eating and laughing together. We are so sorry for your loss

All memories submitted are spot on. A tremendous human being. Loved his references in military parlance. Anyone remember " These are not the floors. these are the decks!" Godspeed Mr. Calafiore.

So sorry to hear this. What great memories from high school. He was a wonderful man and admired by many. He was an all around awesome teacher. Can hear him say "bright eyed & bushy tailed", "line up like rows of corn"! Always had great conversations and he made you feel he really care about you. Which he did! Ran into him in later years at his grandsons basketball games. Was nice to see him & still had that warm, wonderful smile. Prayers to his family. RIP Mr. Calafiore, you were the best! ...

Have a few 1960's childhood memories of Mr. Calafiore to share. Can remember him walking our Reese School grade school class down to the Mercer St. playground to play baseball in the little field area that was next to the pool. May have been in 3rd grade at the time. Also recall going to the summer program he ran out of the basement of the Sitgreaves School back in what was around 1967 or 1968. Recall arts & crafts, boys wrestling area with mat, & being able to go to the playground across...

Mr Calafiore... Those short gym shorts and knee high socks. He was the only teacher that pushed back when I quit school in November of 1994. All the rest of my teachers signed off without and issue including MJ Deutsch, but Mr C stopped me in the small Gym and tried his hardest to keep me there. I had to promise him to try night school before just getting my GED... Thanks for the memories sir! You left an impression on so many, including myself. Should have been the class of `95...
