Not sure what to say?

There was a time when a legal case came along that just screamed "Clawson", and poof... they were served! Pat will be missed. Rest in Peace Pat.

I could've listened to Pat's stories for an eternity. What a great patriot and what a smart man. So proud to know him. A true friend, gentleman and mentor. Big hug Pat. Condolences to your loved ones. You were taken too soon. May God smile upon you and your works. See you in Heaven buddy. Thank you for all you taught me and for your friendship,

What a beautiful message in his honor - to pay a good deed forward. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him personally - what a good guy. I know him through what I call "The Kavanau Group". Rest in peace and my prayers for his family. I lost my husband coming up now six years. I understand, in other words.

Pat was a fierce, passionate defender of transparency in government at all levels. His determination and outspoken advocacy will be missed. He was fearless.
Jane Briggs-Bunting, Michigan Coalition for Open Government

I worked with Pat at WMPX radio in 1972 and have been a close friend since. Pat was one of the most giving persons I have ever meet, he will be truly missed. Dave Lewenz

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your loved one. May prayers to the God of all comfort strengthen you in the days ahead. He promises, "I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. I am healing you." (2 Kings 20:5)

Pat, I know you will read all these wherever you now rest in peace. You still are not only one of a kind, but one of the truest friends/buds I ever have known. I;ve lost you now and a couple others recently and I;m down to about three now. dammitall! I will miss you forever until we meet again and you can broadcast that story. Phill and I are so saddened to hear of Pat's passing. Phill valued his friendship. I will never forget that he took the time to visit Phill in U of M hospital when he was so low. We will miss him. Linda and Phill Orth

Patrick, it was always an adventure visiting with you. And for all your accomplishments, I never heard a boast! Rest well, my friend. Peace be with you.
