Patrick A. "Packy" Conley Jr., 71, a lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the Akron Police Department for 28 years before his retirement, passed away into eternal sleep at his home on Thursday, January 4, 2001. Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, January 8, 2001, 4-6 p.m., at Dunn-Quigley Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 811 Grant Street, Akron. A celebration of life is scheduled for Monday, 7 p.m., at F.O.P. Lodge, 2610 Ley Drive, Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements entrusted to Dunn-Quigley Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
