To the Crouse Family,

I too walk in your shoes. My daughter overdosed on 7/18/02 and now my granddaughter was found dead on 7/10 but her dead is unknown at this time. After reading Patrick obits I was sobbing once again. RIP Patrick along with my daughter and granddaughter. They will be missed by all who knew and loved them.

This obituary was genuinely beautiful--opening up Patrick's life to the public in order to use his passing as something informative and for educational awareness will serve those in a life-changing way who are potentially experiencing his path. You may never have the opportunity to know the interventions this has inspired to save lives. God Bless Your Family!!!!

May your son rest in peace, and god bless you for writing that beautiful obituary. His struggle is that of many others who struggle with addiction. Thank you for sharing his story.
