Not sure what to say?

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. I drove by the Wornall Car Wash that Pat owned back in the 80´s and thought of him. I had him as a math teacher at Rockhurst when I was a freshman in 1974. Since I loved math, we clicked, and I really enjoyed his class. I made a legitimate A in the class! I remember that he told us we could give ourselves whatever grade we wanted for the first 3 quarters but that our final grade would be the grade that we earned. He was a good man, very...

If you smile (rather than wince) when you remember learning about rational and irrational numbers, how to factor a polynomial, quadratic equations, vectors, linear algebra, and functions, chances are pretty good that Pat Crowe was your math teacher at Rockhurst. Mr. Crowe's dry sense of humor was legendary, and was the secret to keeping up his students' interest in what could have been very dry subjects. If I had to pick one favorite teacher, it would be Pat Crowe. He was also a terrific...

Greatest Math teacher ever!

Mr. Crowe taught mathematics to my two younger brothers and I at Rockhurst in the late '60s and early '70s. Over my 40+ year career as an electrical engineer I have often recalled his teaching methods and humorous commentary during class and homeroom. He had a special skill of teaching complex subjects in a way that encouraged without being condescending or patronizing that I have tried to emulate when I am in a teaching role. He was the best teacher I ever knew. Please accept my...

A very good math teacher at the Rock. One might say he came with a personality and sought excellence from his students, an elusive quality in our class.

I greatly appreciated Mr. Crowe making pre-calculus less difficult my junior year st Rockhurst HS. I enjoyed his stories about his coin operated airport TVs.

Ahora la añoranza se hace difícil pero todos juntos se hace más llevadero. Un fuerte abrazo a toda la família

We are holding you in our hearts, sending our sympathies. Patrick must have been a great man, judging from the children and grandchildren he left behind. The Owen and Bucholtz family (John, Laura, Cole, Seth and Cruz)

Im treasuring all the great memories with gratitude
