Not sure what to say?

Pat was always a friendly. Gentle guy. Whether just saying hi or good morning in the halls at Riordan, or singing and playing harmonica up at Camp Mather. Pat, your friendship meant a lot to me, and you are missed. Sing from the top of the Mountain!

I can only get comforted by the idea that Pat is playing his harp with my dad (Jim Ward) and Grandma Ward.

Patrick D'arcy was an icon where I went to school. I have him to thank for the boast that SI never beat us. In school, it was always, Beat SI, and I'm ashamed to have forgotten that they never did beat us while I was there. For this guy to pass at this age, I have to do a second take,... I mean this guy was big. And he was big in an academic, athletic culture. He should not have passed this young. Because of him, now I want to find out about the rest of my classmates before it's too...

RIP Pat

I was most saddened to hear that Pat had passed away. My heart goes out to the family. Pat and I lived together years ago, played rugby together, played music together, and will always remember him with fond memories. I once asked Pat if I could borrow $10 and he gave me $100 when I payed him back he thanked me. Pat was a one of kind type person and I will miss him. God Bless my friend until we meet again.

God bless. May you rest in peace Pat.

I was in Pat's class at Riordan. I got to know him better at some of the reunion's, and a few years ago met him at a Camp Mather get-together. He entertained us with his harmonica, singing and wit. I only wish I got to know him better earlier, but at least I had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be missed, but is in the caring arms of Jesus, and his father.

We are saddened to learn of Pat's death. Our hearts go out to Patricia and her entire D'Arcy family.

Gene and I were so sorry to hear that our good friend Pat passed away. We will always remember the good times we had together, going to hear Mary Black sing, dancing at our wedding, and always a good story. Cheers dear friend. Our thoughts and prayers to mom Pat and family. We are sorry we cannot make his funeral today, as we are in Florida. We will surely have a toast to you today! Pat, Jerry and I shared the same birthdate [6/16/54] and we all went to Holy Name and Riordan. Growing up in the Sunset together. He was one of our sure handed tight ends at Riordan, playing on our WCAL Championship team '71. You could always count on Pat to make the catch or deliver the block.
Funny guy and very talented.
Very sorry to hear of his passing and my sincere condolences to the D'Arcy family.
Go Panthers!
Go Crusaders!
Go Pat!

God Bless.
