Was shocked when I learned Pat had passed away. I had the pleasure of working with Pat at Tuboscope. He was one of the most intelligent, thoughtful and generous persons I've ever met. He was so proud of becoming a grandpa. Gone too soon . . .

I went to LSU with Pat and lived in South Stadium dorm next door to he and John Pitre. My roommate was Chuck Weimer and we shared those rooms for 3 years. We were very close in those days, but lost touch as we went our separate ways to forge through life.
