Pat was a devoted and loving husband to my grandmother Evangeline until she died at age one hundred, seven years ago. Though they enjoyed many wonderful years together, it broke his heart when she finally passed away. We the step-grandchildren will always remember Pat's kindness to our grandmother, and will miss his generous hospitality and dry wit. Rest in peace, dear Pat.
