Not sure what to say?

Patrick's life was a blessing of joy, love and enthusiasm. We thank God for his presence in our lives. He has made a meaningful difference to so many.

Emily, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I knew your Dad from Westell and he was just a wonderful person. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Pat -
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. You and the girl's have my deepest sympathy. I never meet him but from what I've read about him he was a God loving man and full of positive thoughts. Just know that you and the family are in my prayers.

I worked briefly with Patrick and all I can say is that he was a wonderful human being. Extremely positive, kind, and willing to listen. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family in this difficult time.

Patrick taught me that family is not defined by genetics but rather by the heart. I'm proud to be part of his Au Sable family. I will miss him greatly but will remember the unconditional love he gave and the faith he shared by being a living example.

Padre Demerath is missed by many. He continues to inspire me to be an even better man today and will always. Seeing him as not only a pastor but a father/husband to three lovely ladies was/is reward in itself. Keep Em, Lauren and Patricia in your hearts and prayers for they are his most valued items.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Pastor Patrick married us a year ago and it was one of the best days of our lives and he will forever be part of that wonderful day!!! He will be missed.

Your upbeat personality will be missed.

Pastor Patrick Demerath is the epitome of what every pastor, or one training to be a pastor, should be. He was love-filled, joyful, and thankful to be a minister. He was a wonderful teacher, leader, and preacher of God's Word who led by example. He possessed the most wonderfully profound way of gently reminding his congregation of what we, as Christians, are expected to do. His devotion and dedication were seemingly limitless and he did everything with such enthusiasm. He was most...
