Not sure what to say?

I was a salesman and was always well received by Dr Dennis. When I retired he was one of a very few that thanked me for calling on him. We need more like this outstanding man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. AL Kennedy

Dr. Dennis was a wonderful person. He was our family eye doctor for so so many years. So sad for your loss. A bright star has gone out but I will never forget how kind he was.

Dr. Dennis was a wonderful person. I played golf with him and he was my eye doctor. It was always a great joy to be in his presence. He will be missed but we are all better because he was an inspiration. May God bless him!

I share in all of messages about Dr. Dennis having been his patient and known him in all the ways you all have expressed. My deepest condolences to Myrtle, Jeff and Pat, Jr. We have missed seeing him and Myrtle at the Lowcountry Senior Center. He always had a smile and kind word as he faithfully came for his gym workouts.

I am saddened by the passing of a wonderful man and a great ophthalmologist. He was kind and thoughtful . He treated me and my family and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family at the sad time.

I was and still consider myself blessed to have called Dr. Patrick Dennis, Sr. my eye doctor and friend. A true Southern gentleman, he was much loved by my family. His life was an inspiration to many. Dr. Patrick H. Dennis, Jr., my eye doctor today as well a friend continues the legacy established by his father. My heart is saddened at the loss of this wonderful man. May God grant you his peace as you find comfort through precious memories. Many prayers and much love to all of you.l

Dr. Dennis was my doctor as a child. Our families were in the same church and I remember my parents always speaking so highly of their love for the Dennis family. What an incredible treasure and gift of God to the Charleston community. Pat (Jr.) and family we mourn and celebrate with all of you. Blessings

I have known Dr. Dennis for nearly 50 years first as a caring and kind physician and second as a friend who was always interested in how I was doing, how school was going, how my family was, etc. He was one of the first people I sought out at First Scots when I finally returned to live in Charleston in 2011. I will miss him terribly. My condolences to all of the Dennis family. Steven McLees

Myrtle and family, I am so sorry to learn about Patrick's passing. I will be in Scotland on August 24th but will keep you in my prayers. All my best, Julianne Farnsworth
