I worked with Pat at CWU for many years where he was admired by all for his exceptional work skills and genuine cheerfulness. Pat and I found out we shared a love of the mountains, and I had the good fortune to climb both Mt. Stuart and Mt. Hood with him (as well as several fun slogs up the Manastash Ridge). I know Pat will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

My condolences. Pat was brother to my friend the late Bill Devlin, Everett, military insignia collector extraordinaire. Pat asked me to liquidate Bill's collection and Pat was a big help and a lot of fun to deal with. Fair, honest and trusting, Pat did business on a handshake. I enjoyed his Army stories. I could tell that he was dedicated to the health and welfare of his family first & foremost. A good guy and hard worker, Pat will be deeply missed.
