Prayers for Pat and family. I will always recall how those eyebrows of his would head north when he got near the punchline of a joke or riddle.

Can't believe you're gone. Great Captain, Great friend, Great man. Rest in peace Pat, the world was a better place when you were in it. RIP.

What a GREAT Captain and a great person. Patty was an inspiration with all his knowledge and experience. He'll be missed by all who knew him or interacted with him. Rest peacefully my friend, you are remembered and you are missed.

I had the privilege of working with Pat at Engine 6 and what a tremendous fireman and person he was. He would do anything for you. What a great guy. Pat will certainly be missed.

I work with Pat at the Firehouse on Park Avenue. Pat was truly a Great guy and a Great Firemen. I would always remember going in to start my shift with him whether it would be a Day Shift or a Night Shift and I would walk into the kitchen area and Pat would be there with a big smile on his face and he would always greet me with Hey Johnny Me Boy and I just knew it going to be a great day or night after the big hello. Uncle Pat, rest easy... my condolences to Aunt Lenore and cousin Pat. My condolences to my Mom and my aunts and uncles for the loss of their brother. I always loved knowing that I had an Uncle that was a Newark Fireman and meant so much to the city of Newark. I remember seeing my Uncle Pat every year March in the St. Patrick´s Day parade in honor of his heritage. You were loved by many and you were missed by all of us daily. Your legacy will proceed you.
