To the Doherty family:

It was very sad to hear the news that Pat had passed. Pat was my first partner when I was a new Agent with the DEA. He was truly a great Agent and a "master" at the art of surveillance. He could go anywhere and would never be noticed by the "bad guys" until it was time to make the arrest. He was a great mentor. May Pat rest in peace and that God watches over "all" of you! Pat will be truly missed.

To Olga, Christina, Aggie and Walter Jr and family.... To you he was husband, father, son and brother; to me he was friend. You may not know, but I had the privilege of being one of his personal references when he sought to join the DEA when we were 22 or so years old and I remember saying to the recruiter that if there was ever anyone that I would trust and count on in a tough situation, it was 'Tilly' Doherty. The Doherty Family,

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Pat. I first came to know him several years ago when he and his friends spent many hours at the Charlestown Boys Club. The relationship we formed back in those days survived the many decades that followed.

I will always remember his infectious smile and his friendly manner. He will be missed.
