Not sure what to say?

Liz and family,

I read the sad news about your dad in the paper---please accept my deepest sympathies. I have such nice memories of him at your house in Vienna. My thoughts are with all of you.

Pam Montefusco Wingfield

Jane, we enjoyed our relatively short time together at Leonard Wood, but we never forgot what fine friends we had in you and Pat. Our prayers have been with you for a long time, and we guarantee you that they will continue. Pickle and Jim Barnett, USMA 1948

My deepest sympathy to the family.

I admired Pat from our days at Rensselaer through our teaching assignment at West Point. I have never known a finer friend or soldier. I am even more saddened to notice the passing of his brother Leo who I met briefly, and quite by accident, at a military ball in Hawaii.

I am so sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jane and Rosanne,
Please accept my warmest condolences on the passing of Pat. To we on Lamberton Road, he was the original "hero" - a man of exceptional strength and integrity. Father Joe has said it all: he was a leader in the best sense of the word. I remember the day he returned from Korea. What a man - what a time - what a loss. Warmest regards

A real man, a gentleman, a scholar, a leader of the first rate, a real friend. He will be missed, but remembered in my prayers and masses. Whenever St. Ann's folks get together, he will be discussed. My sympathy and prayer. Fr. Joe Goebel

We send our condolences and sympathy.

With heartfelt sympathy -- I recall Pat as an extremely helpful classmate -- a classic forty -niner
