Patrick E. Felice, 83, of Lincoln Heights, Jeannette, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Nov. 2, 1930, in Derry, a son of the late Luigi and Lidia Guiliani Felice. Prior to his retirement, Patrick was employed by the Westinghouse Research and Development Center in Churchill as a radiation safety officer. He held several patents through his work at Westinghouse and was listed on Who's Who of the East for his accomplishments. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the Air Force. Patrick was a member of Ascension Church Jeannette and was an altar server for the church. He was a volunteer for the former Jeannette District Memorial Hospital and a member of the Morning Coffee Club at A-Plus Mini Mart in Lincoln Heights. In addition to his parents, Patrick was predeceased by a grandson, Zachary Pitts. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carol Shrum Felice; his loving children, Gracienne Bender, of Greensburg, Patrick Felice Jr. and wife, Melanie, of Latrobe, Robert Felice, of Lincoln Heights Jeannette, Scott Felice and wife, Christine, of Markleysburg, Krystal Pitts and husband, David, of Mt. Pleasant, Betsy Danser and husband, Ron, of Greensburg, and Melissa Felice, of Lincoln Heights, Jeannette; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Cindric and husband, Michael, of Latrobe; numerous nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Murphy. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 North 2nd St., Jeannette. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, in Ascension Church, with Father Paul A. Lisik as celebrant. Entombment, with military honors accorded by the Jeannette Combined Veterans, will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Hempfield Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
