Not sure what to say?

Pat was a classmate He always had a smile and was an outstanding man. I haven't seen Pat in 51 years, but still remember him well. God bless and help you through the rough times.

Joan, we are so sorry to hear about Pat. Sending not quite so distant hugs from Petoskey. Remembering our time with you and Pat at church on Sunday in Saginaw.

I am very saddened to hear of Patrick’s death. What a fine man! When I began prosecuting child protection cases in 1975, Pat was there for the children, parents, and me and was an amazingly professional foster care worker. He quickly became a friend. He was very good and quiet with great humor. Sincere condolences to Joan and all the family!

Whenever I think about Pat it’s with a gentle smile on his face, which matched his kind soul. I am glad you two were able to share such an amazing life together. I am just so sorry that he is gone so soon.

Pat and I worked together for years in Saginaw County. Pat was at home with every outdoor activity and we shared our appreciation for cross country skiing. One afternoon at the Corsair course near Tawas City, I asked Pat what he enjoyed about skiing. He said, " I love feeling my heart beat, hearing my breathing, and the crunch of the snow".

Pat joined a number of my friends who spent a weekend each year skiing in northern Michigan and Canada. He was so good at time "with the boys",...

What a kind, gentle, caring man he was. Conversations always centered around running and biking at DHS. Both myself and deceased husband, Tom feel honored to have known and worked with him. Always made us laugh. Hugs to all Joan. Sherry (Church) Burkhart - DHS Saginaw

I worked with Pat for several years. He was a great guy, liked by all!

I worked with Pat for a short time and Pat always seemed to be a gentle person. He was a good employee who enjoyed working with people.

Pat was loved by his coworkers and an all around good guy. Funny, soft spoken and kind. The world has lost a true gem. So sorry for your loss
