Patrick T. Flaherty

When I think of my Uncle Pat I always remember this man that had a super dignified and intelligent aura around him. He seemed so wise and professorial. This aura was sometimes pierced, usually when he was with my other Uncles or my Dad. I remember sitting down in my Grandmothers basement usually for Easter and my Uncle Pat would say something that I would not fully appreciate till years later. He had such an infectious smile and you couldn’t help but smile as well when around him.

My memories of my Uncle Pat will always be of a man who always seemed so dignified and circumspect. He just had this aura about him that gave you pause. The thing was he also had this really quick sense of humor. He always brings to mind Easter at my Grandmothers house sitting on the basement with my other Uncles and he would get in these comments that I would not appreciate until years later. His ability to make other smile and that infectious smile he had will always be how I think of...

Pat was such a wonderful man. Never forget the happy times in Buscia’s (?) basement. We are blessed to have known him. Deepest sympathy to the whole Flaherty clan.

One of the kindness and most generous individuals — welcomed us to our new home and neighborhood. Helped set up our basketball hoop and welcomed our children into his home to make cookies. Great friend and neighbor. Much love to his family. Donny Likosky
