Read MoreI was so sorry to hear about Dr. Garvin. I moved to Florida about 26 years ago and was afraid I would not find a dentist who was as gentle as Dr. Garvin. I did manage, but he was the best.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Pat. He was such a special man and inspiring person. I feel blessed to have known him. What a tremendous loss to our community. Our heartfelt sympathy to Joan, Tricia, Dr. Jim, Karen, and all the family.

My husband and I moved to Batavia 20 years ago and Dr. Pat was the first doctor we met here. Being immigrants we always felt his respect, interest and support. From day one we were always looking forward to get into his chair with flying boats above and spend time next to this classy gentleman with great cense of humor, never mind the dental part, it was a joy just to be there.
He raised a wonderful family, each of you hopefully inherited part of his greatness, this should help you...

My most heartfelt condolences on Pat's passing to the Garvin family. As a new specialist in our area 25 yrs ago Dr Pat embraced me and supported my practice from day one. I will never forget his kindness. He was an excellent teacher and I learned much from him during all these past years. He was one of the kindest, warmest and classiest people I have ever met. I will truly miss him. Rest in peace w/ God at your side my dear friend.
