Patrick Gavin

Pat is my favorite boss of my 41 year pharmacist career because of one statement he made one day when he came to visit the pharmacy. He asked, "How can I make your job easier?" I´m so pleased to read that Pat believed in God and walked in the good works that God created for him in Christ before the foundation of the world.

Hard to believe that seven years have passed. Miss Pat on many levels. He was a good friend and traveling companion.

To Pat's Family,

Pat and I were friends during our 4 years at West Catholic High School. He was a genuinely nice guy, smart, caring and fun to be around. I'm sorry I am learning of this just now through the most recent alumni news. My heart goes out to you.

So sorry to hear about Pat. I just learned about it tonight from another Meijer pharmacist. I had the good fortune of working with Pat during my 38 years as a Meijer pharmacist. I counted Pat as a friend and boss. My wife, Jeri, I and are sorry that we didn't hear of this sooner. Our sympathies to Mary and family.

Happy New Year 2018 to Mary, Kari, Brenda, Becky, Lizy and eight grandchildren.

Pat, Dad, brother and friend was a remarkable gentleman. Cherish the memories and good times and have GRATITUDE for being around him.

To the entire Gavin family, Pat made his positive mark wherever he went. I have many fond memories of growing up with him at St. Jo's, cancer connects at Gilda's and Van Andel, and other activities that he brought his goodness to. May God send His protection to those touched by Pat. I can only imagine the great smiles on both of their faces as Pat entered Heaven as God said, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!"

So sorry to hear about Pat. My prayers to his family, that they can feel Gods presence and the caring of the many friends of Pat. Pat was an inspiration to so many people. His caring personality will definitely be missed.

Thank you everyone for the kind words you have expressed remembering Pat. It has been very nice to hear the many ways that he interacted with people that he worked with, people that faced a situation that he could help with, and people that are working on treatments for cancer.
We will miss Pat terribly but we know that he will be rewarded for his good life in heaven.
