Not sure what to say?

To the Gear Family,
I just recently found out ,to my great sadness ,what happened to Pat, from a mutual friend from tractor trailer school. I had been trying to reach Pat for months, not knowing what happened. Pat became a good friend and inspiration to me at NETTTS, always ready to help and always ready with a good joke to make the whole class laugh.
After graduation, Pat always called me to see how I was doing...I will miss those calls. He was, and always will be, a special man....

Alicia, Dana and Katie

So sorry for your loss, Pat was a great guy and We shared many many
laughs at the inconvenience store.
He introduced me to many of the friends I have in Old Saybrook and
he will be missed.

Bryan and Rowena Moffett

The Gear Family

I was a friend of Pat's from Old Saybrook, CT. When Pat owned the Town Beach Store, I would come in each day and get my coffee and newspaper from him and we became friends. Pat was a familiar face around town for years....he was a good man and I will always remember his Irish ways...we had so many laughs and good times.

I hadn't seen him much in recent years when he moved away...but always thought of him.

May God hold a place for him forever.

God...
