Not sure what to say?

My late husband David Chiron was a roommate at Cornell his freshman year with Patrick. He was thrilled and really thought he was a standup guy. We were invited to Patrick´s wedding, but regretted terribly that we could not attend and were honored to be invited. I am very sorry to hear of his passing and send my condolences to his family

Patrick was a great investor but most importantly a great friend. I will miss his wisdom and friendship

Thinking of you very much with love and planted a tree in honor of Patrick! Taty

My wife Sophie and I express our sincerest condolences and deepest sympathy to Elizabeth, Patrick's children, and his loved ones. Patrick was a personal friend to us. His commitment to Franco-American friendship, particularly through the American Friends of The Louvre, is and will remain a source of inspiration. He was a man of good. We will always cherish his memory. François Delattre Former France's Ambassador to the U.S.

I met Mr. Gerschel about 15 years ago. I found him razor sharp, curious, passionate about what he knew/liked but open to any discussion, and wise about the complexity of all things. He became a friend and generous donor to my research laboratory. A great man and humanitarian.
