Not sure what to say?

I was Patrick's roommate at the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA. For the 174th Sesson of the NA. He was an outstanding Police Officer a person of great integrity. I will see you again on the other side Patrick. Captain Jack Perry Pennsylvania State Police Retired

I only met Pat once and that was in 1986. A fellow officer and I had thought about lateraling to Huntington Beach PD. Pat was in the reserves with my friend. He gave us a personal tour of the department and treated us like family. He was a Sgt then. I applied as a lateral, but man was I absolutely green! I was not chosen to go on and eventually I continued on in my career where I am now the Traffic Sgt for our department. Whenever I think of Huntington Beach PD or speak with someone...

Pat,
You were my mentor, my partner and my friend. I’m a better man for having known you. You rest now, old friend. I’ll catch up with you someday and we’ll laugh again.

The passing of a truly good man. May he rest in peace.

Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine,
et lux perpetua luceat eis.

I first met Captain G when he was hiring me for a position in El Paso. On the phone, I thought that he was a Captain just like me (O-3). We spoke several times and the whole time I was "relaxed" in conversation and thought "what a great guy!"

Pat was a close friend and partner for years. He will be missed by myself and many of his friends. Take care old friend and rest peacefully. My deepest condolences to his family and others who loved him.

To Audrey and the Gildea family:
We were deeply saddened when we heard of Pat's passing. However, I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to wish Pat Happy Birthday on 31 Aug 09, and we planned to get together during October. Pat will always remain a warm memory for the rest of my life. Please accept our deepest condolences.

Dear Gildea Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. You Gildea's were the lively ones compared to the Reppert's and I always admired that about your family!

Much love to you all,
Joan Reppert Heisler

I served in the Reserves with you and remember 'meeting' Zip1 and Zip2. How proud you were of serving in the Navy and on the police force.
