Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Pat's passing. What a shock and terrible lost. My sincere condolences to the Green family. Pat's one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I pitched horseshoes with Pat in the 1970's.

My condolences to the Green Family. I met Pat at the post office 6 years ago when I moved here. We would always have a some type of conversation together. At the end of the conversation no matter what it was, he was always able to make me laugh. He was such a pleasant man. I will greatly miss him. May God help you through this time of sorrow.

He wrote the most creative and personalized responses to my kids Santa letters. Truly he went above and beyond his job duties to make kids feel that Santa got their letter and cared. He will be greatly missed, how sad to lose him at Christmas.

Our condolences to the Green Family. Pat was such a nice man and a very special person. Always a smile and good conversation while at the post office window. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Take care of each other, God Bless ! Sandy & Rick Boisselle

Our deepest sympathy to the Green family. My daughter and I went to the post office several times a week, and Pat was always there, smiling and willing to help. He always said hello to my daughter and gave her a lollipop, which always made her day. I will miss him greatly; he was a wonderful man.

I was so sorry to hear about Pat's passing. He was always helpful to me when I needed to send mail and packages to other countries. I usually figured it out incorrectly and he was so patient with me. I will miss seeing his smiling face. He was always very positive about everything.

To the Green family, Our family too is shocked by Pat's sudden passing. He greeted everyone by name and we never saw him without a smile! He will forever be missed at both the p.o. window and at the horseshoe pits. We will keep you in our prayers. The Ziegler family

To the Green Family,

My husband, Jim, and our family were so sad to hear about Patrick. He was always smiling when any one of us would stop in at the post office. Once your Patrick met our Patrick, ( a young boy then), he never missed an opportunity to ask how he was or talk to him personally about sports, etc.

What a nice man he was. Portland is going to miss him for he always had a smiling face and a cute joke or old saying to make us laugh for the day.

I was a friend of Pat's through the post office. I live at that post office and loved talking to Pat as he was helping me with my many mailings. We always laughed and I will miss seeing his smiling face. He was great. My sympathy to his family. Jill Deane - Portland
