Not sure what to say?

I first met my nephew a few days after his birth and he kept me awake the entire night. Later, we played together in Herlong, CA, a blue eyed blond curly headed beautiful boy whom I thoroghly enjoyed. He was always with a grin, and never critical of people or events. I will always miss him.Love. Uncle Bob

I will always have wonderful special memories of my "dad" Rick. I was 12yrs old when my parents married. In that I got a wonderful dad who worked hard to provide a good life for us. I also got two wonderful brothers. I came to appreciate hunting, fishing, and cars, race cars, old cars, fast cars. We loved watching the boys play sports. Many wonderful memories, life lessons and sadness for our loss.

Rick was the most powerful silent presence in my life. He never told me "I'll always be there for you", but "He always was".

Everytime I came to Reno, we would swap few words in a crowd but when all had left or gone to bed, Rick and I would stay up half the night playing video games or sitting out in his "Man Cave", laughing, crying, and conquering the ills of the world!

Rick was the most nonjudgemental and forgiving person I've ever known. I don't think...

I always did like you Rick, and you will be missed. I hope you get to spend every day now chasing Elk. Go Broncos!!!

Wow.....this took my breath away when I read this this morning. I had the pleasure of knowing Rick for a long time. We went to grade school together and graduated from Manogue together. Rick was genuinely one of the nicest people I ever knew. He was a gentle caring man unless you were on a football field with him. He was the fastest nose guard I ever saw. I know that because I was the linebacker behind him. I am so sorry to the family and both and Rick and the family will be in my prayers!!!
