Age 84, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Son of the late James and Catherine Hollihan. Beloved husband of 61 years to Lillian (Usowski) Hollihan. Father of Dawn Ann (Hollihan) Cicone and Patrick Hollihan (Mary). Proud "Pap" of Christopher Hollihan (Colleen), Cassie (Hollihan) Bench (Daniel) and Dr. Bailey Hollihan. Great-grandfather of Daniel and Callan Bench. Brother of the late Raymond, William "Prof", and James Hollihan, Jackie and Mary Dolores. Survived by brother Jeremiah Hollihan. Gunner was a proud welder for many years at American Bridge. He was a lifetime member of local AOH Division 23 and VFW 241. Gunner also loved woodworking, and his projects were true works of art. He was mostly known for his wonderful bartending skills at many local 10th Ward bars. We all know where he is headed, and he will be very busy because the bars never close. He will be truly missed by family and friends. Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Angels Parish, St. Augustine Church on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
