Patrick J. Kenny, Esq.

Mr. Kenny was my 7th grade teacher at St. Mark's Elementary School in Brooklyn, 1969-70. He taught Social Studies. At that time, I think he was dating his wife. I believe she was a nurse. Mr. Kenny was the first male teacher we had and he was a very tough act to follow. "Fair and firm" was his style. He was well liked. Pat and I met as adversaries on a 2010 elevator case (still pending) . He was truly one of the last of the old breed of defense attorneys- tough, no nonsense, no PC sugar coated BS. He told you what he thought of the case, your client, your theory and he never pulled a punch. I liked that. It was a welcome change from the young current crop of defense guys.

But Pat was also a nice warm & funny guy. We spent a fair amount of time sitting in court together and we eventually came to be...
