Pat was a wonderful help while I was writing a book on Portland in the 1960s. He was a great storyteller and had a heart of gold.

Hi i am the housekeeper of this beautiful family & have worked for susen & pat for alot of years, needless to say i have gotten to know them very well. Pat & his beautiful music of the 60's & 70's which he always left on for me to work to, it made my day sale on by. home was the place to hang out. Terry Schreiber,
Gordy Reeves, Rick Eddy and I went to see Chris often, but it was always cool when Pat was around. The first time I ever heard Bob Dylan was on an album that Pat had just bought. He was
definitely ahead of his time. So sorry to hear that he's gone.
