Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Kearns:
Please accept our sincere condolences on the the death of your dear husband. On the many occasions that I met him he always a gracious,gentle man. He was so very proud of his Irishness and also of his American citizenship. Please be assured of our prayers for you and your family and for the repose of Patrick's soul.
God bless you all.

Dear Jean and all others who knew Pat;
Whenever I had the good fortune to cross paths with Pat, he always had a smile and kind words. He was never adverse to making a bit of a joke. The last time Isaw him was at Doc Mahan's birthday party earlier this year. He said to us as he was leaving with his wife Jean "I'd like to book your band to play at our wedding". That is a sense of humor that will not be matched by many. I can tell you my life is richer for having known him.

Dear Mrs. Kearns,
I was very sorry to hear about the passing of your dear husband and friend to so many. Pat was an unusual Irishman in as much as he wasn't shy about expressing his feelings. The big difference in Pat was he was kind to everyone. If he hadn't something positive to say, he said nothing. Each time I met him, I got that impression, and I thought he was great for that reason. Kathleen and I wish you strength doring this sad time.

To Jean & Family,

Every memory of Pat brings a smile to my face. His mischevious grin, the sparkle in his eye and his love for the people around him.

His love for his wife is a love we can all hope for. Jean, I know he did not want to leave you and if we could choose our time, I am sure he would have chose to go minutes after you. God obviously had other plans.

I wish I had the words that could take away your pain. Please know that you are in my...
