Not sure what to say?

I am a Kelly cousin, born and raised in Yakima, WA. MY FATHER, RILEY KELLY, WAS ALWAYS VERY BUSY, RUNNING HIS BUSINESS, EXCEPT FOR TIME HE WAS ABLE TO GET SOME POLO IN. LIKE ALL GOOD IRISHMEN, HE LOVED HORSES. :) ANYWAY, WE DIDN'T GET OVER TO PORTLAND MUCH, AND EVERYONE IS ALWAYS BUSY, JUST TRYING TO SURVIVE-- RIGHT? BUT I DO REGRET THAT I DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO KNOW MOST OF MY KELLY COUSINS WELL. BUT I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. FROM WHAT DAVID HAS TOLD ME, AND FROM WHAT I READ, IT'S...

We were very saddened to hear of Pat's passing. Thank God for the Internet, though, we wish we had checked earlier. We knew Pat from our previous 25 years as members of Luther Memorial Church. We wish to extend our most sincere condolences for your loss.

He was an amazing brother in law and will be greatly missed...we had a lot of fun times and I will always cherish those times.

In loving memory of a wonderful man.

Dad,
You will be so missed. Will miss our golf adventures and backpacking. Thanks for being an amazing example of a husband and a father. Say hi to Jesus for me!

I first met Pat in the Fall of 1962 when I pledged Kappa Phi Fraternity at Portland State. Pat was the president, and the main reason I joined the Fraternity. We had meetings, social gatherings, football games where we were the champions, led by Pat. We were honored to see Pat at several of our Kappa Phi monthly lunches. I had the deepest respect for Pat and Rita. He was one of the best.

I knew Pat for many years as a friend and colleague. I am sad for his family to hear he has passed, but know he has received his reward. Even though we never talked much about faith, I knew he loved God. Love you, Pat.

Dear Rita and Family,
We are saddened to read of the passing of Pat. In many respects, our careers were parallel from PSU to OSU to Shannon & Wilson to our geotechnical engineering practices. I admired Pat's integrity and caring personality. He will be missed.

Pat was a dear man, a friend, with soft-spoken wisdom and kindness. He and Rita are faithful servants of the Lord and respected by the people around them. Pat laughed easily and it was always a pleasure to visit with him. We join the family in commending him to God's eternal care with all the Saints in Light.
