Not sure what to say?

You were a good man, Patrick. Your heart was beautiful. I look forward to meeting you in heaven.

RIP.
All I've ever read about you... people say how kind you were.
You did so much for people and the community.
I'll pray for you and your family always.

Every time I saw Pat on TV, I was just memorized by his smooth as butter voice and his intellect:) I always wanted to know, as a mom of a 20 year old who is 6´7", where he got his pants? Lol, I know he would have answered my silly question with that big laugh and a great solid answer! Think of Pat from time to time and would have loved to have a conversation with him about regular things, maybe stories of raising kids, or compare stories from a tall man to share with my kiddo ;) My own Mom...

Pat was a classmate of mine in the Milwaukee Police Academy (March of 1980). Pat livened up the class with his charismatic personality and delightful sense of humor. Pat had a heart of gold! It`s been a number of years since Pat`s death but I will never forget him, heaven has gained a beautiful soul.

Police Chaplain, Bob Duthie

gone now 6 years but not forgotten

Pat you didn't know me nor did I know you but I've admired you and held you in awe after I've watched you comment on the most horrible crime scene in American history it blows me away that you were an eye witness to the events that played out at the oxford apts. in 1991 I know you are with Jesus right now and I know Jeff D. Would agree with me in saying "pat you sure have got a good head on your shoulders my friend!!!!!

For one of the most compassionate, level-headed and courageous men I can name. Your light shone farther than you know.

For my aunt Pat.

I was just told of Pat's death today. Pat and I met at Marian College in Fond du Lac as freshman in 1972. In 1975 Pat was in my wedding party. Over the years we lost contact unfortunately but we reconnected and I followed his career with respect and appreciation. My condolences go out to Pat's family and friends. I read a number of interviews with Pat in print that were published not long before his unexpected death. The Pat that emerged in those interviews was the Pat I met and knew back in...
