Not sure what to say?

Best boss ever! A very caring person . Rest in eternal peace .

I just became aware of Sgt. Kennell's passing today when I read about him in the Rockland Shields newsletter. I had the pleasure of working with him from 1986 to 1990 in the 25 pct. I became a Sgt, and later a Lt., myself and always tried to treat my officers the same way Sgt. Kennell treated all of us. He was a kind soul, who always had a love for the job and the people he worked with.
I want you to know how truly sorry I was to hear of his passing. I will raise a glass in his honor and...

Pat Kennell was a wise man who taught me a lot about being a police officer. He knew how to be a boss and a friend. He will be missed. God Bless Pat Kennell and the wonderful family that supported him so that he could be a great teaceh

I'm sorry to learn of Patty's passing. My father, grew up in Bklyn with him and they came on "The Job" together. He played in the Dodgers system & my dad in the Philly system. I had the pleasure of working w/ him in The 25 thirty yrs later. He was a great man and boss. RIP Sarge

My deepest condolences to the family. Please know he was a great boss and father figure to us in the 25pct. A very caring man whom we will miss dearly.

12/24/69 I was in uniform to do a day tour when Sgt. Kennell took me out of the radio car and put me on foot patrol. I was shocked! He knew my wife was in labor and he said if you don't go to your wife, you are on foot patrol. He gave me the day off never docking me a vacation day. I never forgot that. What a great guy! My condolences to the family.

paddy was a great guy and a great sgt. in the 25 where I worked until 1969,he will be sorely missed by all the guys in the two-five

To the Kennell family, May the God of all comfort sustain you during this difficult time.
Psalms 145:14

Heartfelt condolences are extended to your family at this time of sorrow. God has loving concern for bereaved ones. He will help you through this difficult time. (Psalm 146:5, 9)
