Well Happy Angel Birthday dude. I remember celebrating with you in EOD Assistant school back in 88. So today I will raise a glass of good ole Captain Morgan for ya.....and next week will be grand to have your family and some friends celebrating you. Never forgotten Wade-Dro!!!!

On Saturday, May 28 I ran in the Cpl Christopher G. Scherer Memorial "I Did the Grid" Run/Walk in East Northport, NY. Each runner had the names of four Fallen Heroes on their race bib, and we were asked to reflect on these warriors who had made the ultimate sacrifice while running the four mile course. Patrick Wade was on my bib. To his loved ones, I want you to know that I was thinking about his service and sacrifice on Saturday and today, Memorial Day. I just read his obituary on the EOD...

This year was a little different Patrick. We were all scattered and couldnt get together this year. But you were honored and remembered by so many that love and miss you. Noelle and Esme were here last week and you would be so proud of the young ladies they have become. Noe even drove us around the park. Lol. Keri couldnt make it this year and was missed. Love and miss you so much.
