Not sure what to say?

My heart is saddened that we lost such a wonderful man and kind soul. Father LaBelle was an inspiration to me and just hearing his voice had such a calming effect. I will miss his stories, advice and wisdom. Father LaBelle is a mentor I will always remember and cherish.

I will always pray for him and his family and may he rest in peace.

Dear Labelle Family,

Fr. Pat was so wonderful to me when I was a student at SMC. He presided at my wedding in the chapel and my wife and I will always be grateful to him.

Sending love and prayers to the Labelles.

Father Pat, you were a dear friend and mentor to so many of the young men that played for me. You were also a great friend to me and my family. I pray that you are with your Creator and that you will live forever in our hearts and memories.

Fr. Labelle was part of my great St. Mary's College education; His wisdom, motivation warmth are with me today. I lived right across the hall from him on campus 1978--79, his door always open. While in Italy, I look around and who do I see--? Labelle with bodyguard (students), pathfinders out to do good. That was Labelle!
Once you met him, you never felt alone, no matter where you ventured, nor will you ever forget him. 916-731-8090

We lost a great guy in Father Labelle, who lives on in all he influenced. May he Rest In Peace!

May I add that Fr. Patrick i 1970 was appointed by the CCMA Executive Committee as a voting member representing the Western Region. He was the first one to be appointed to that position. Patrick loved campus ministry. He did it because he saw the future of the church in those young men and women that he served.
Patrick may you rest in peace.
Fr. Albert Felice-Pace, O.P.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
