Dear Family: It is Saturday morning in Tempe Arizona, where I am planning to attend the First Holy Communion of our grandchild, Peter Hillebrand. My brother Don emailed me that Paddy had died. I am sorry to hear that, since I know that he was an important member of the Lyons family. One of my most, in fact, the most, important memory of Paddy occurred shortly after my sister, Betty Jean died tragically. Years ago Pat made a tape recording of a gathering of our parents at Auntie Bea O'Grady's house. Patrick gave a copy to Kitty Bishop who was kind enough to give me my own copy. Patrick's thoughtfulness has given me the pleasure of reliving the memories of some of those gatherings-especially the voices of my parents and the rest of the family that Came Over.
