Not sure what to say?

It is hard to express the sorrow that my wife and I felt learning of Pat's (as he was known to us) passing. We were very close friends while stationed at Fort Knox in the early 1970s. Pat and I flew together in the Cav, we rode motorcycles (dirt and street) together, as well as some very memorable nights at happy hour. Even tho we lost contact many years ago, I feel as though I lost a very dear friend, in fact I did. Our deepest sympathy to pats family. Stories? I have them:)

Pat was a friend and co-worker along with Ryan at Westminster Sports Center. My family and I are deeply saddened about this tragic accident. Pat , you were truly one of a kind. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. Rest in peace my friend

Dear Mahany family, Just read about your loss and I'm so saddened by the news of Pat, Jr. I have many fond memories of being with your family as kids and of course, all those potatoes that our folk grew. I hold you all near my heart and know that in time the hurt will be less. RIP Patty - love from Kathy Morrell.

Pat fox hunting in Arkport, NY in 1968.

Pat was a childhood friend of myself and my family. We all played hard and had a great time, be it with horses, fox hunting,( Pat on a little black pony). he was always happy and carefree. I will always hold on to those memories. He will be missed.

Rest in peace American Hero

What an amazing legacy. Rest in peace, Patrick

I had the honor of working with Pat during the helicopter portable oil exploration years, never did a person have a better friend than Pat. Such unforgettable personality, I called him " The Mahany-ack" because of his no non sense firecracker persona. He was really there for us when his good friend and colleague Michael McCallie died in a similar rotarcraft accident. You will never be forgotten Pat. Heaven is s better place with you in it.

My prayers go out to Pat and his family on his passing. I was privileged to work with Pat as another pilot in Memphis over 29 years. He was that person that you could never forget cuz he always made you smile. Will miss you my friend, bless you!

My prayers go out to the Mahany family for the loss of such a great man. I only met Patrick Jr. once, but one time was enough to know he was a leader and a top rate individual.
