Not sure what to say?

I have known Pat for the last 10 years working at the Oakridge Fitness center. He was one of our fantastic members. I will always remember him. He use to groon to me my wedding song. We would always have a friendly chat. I loved his crazy cycling outfits. I got to know his family when they came to see their parents. I will always think of him.

"Mr. Mango" and I were regulars at one of the Oak Ridge Fitness Center spinning classes ... but I dropped out a couple of years ago while he kept on pedaling! His loving obituary is a wonderful tribute and rounds out the picture of an truly admirable person. With our heartfelt sympathy to the family,

My sincere condolence to the family and friends. I am truly sorry for your . Please take comfort in knowing that soon God will swallow up death forever and will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. Isaiah 45:8

I work at Oakridge Fitness Center where Mr. Mango would be on a daily basis asking for his favorite bike :) he was such a loving and passionate man and I will be forever thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know him! May God bless his family and loved ones during this time.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for you loss of Pat. I too was "a lady if any age" with the group at Hunter. (A.I.M.) he was so fun to be with-always up-beat and positive. He said that he could only go 10 mph now and for me to go ahead and hed catch up. I loved riding with him at any speed. He also said to me and others to "never stop moving". He said this whenever we got together! I loved to hear his stories about his adventures. His spirit will always be with me and will never forget him

Pat was a one of a kind, exemplifying what has become known as the "Best Generation". He has taken his biking and flying now to a higher level - and the wind will always be at his back.

I met Pat when I joined the Savannah-based CBTC biking club in 2002. I learned very quickly that he was quite the sport, and one of a kind. In his late 80's Pat showed up at one of our bike club meetings sporting an afro wig and one earring. I will always remember his spirit, his "live life to the fullest" attitude, and his charm. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Thank you for these memories, Pat.... Vikki Graham

Pat, we/ll miss you! I was one of the lucky "girls of any age" that was in the A.I.M. bike riding group...what a great group. We even had our own bumper stickers! Pat was definitely the ringleader and even had a ride named after him...The Mango Loop. I remember one time we had stopped for a rest and some water, and Pat sailed past us. As we tried to wave him over we heard..."If I stop now, Ill never get going again!...meet you at the club!" <: What a wonderful person...truly 'One of a...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
I met Pat in 2001, right after I moved down here from Connecticur. He introduced me to A.I.M., even though I wasn't yet 75 (except in a newspaper article about A.I.M. which reversed the numbers from 67 to 76!). Then Pat suggested that I stop working for the VITA tax program and come over to the AARP tax program that he was in charge of, so I could ride with his bike club (CBTC). I also...
