Not sure what to say?

All of us who have worked together to abolish the death penalty as members of Amnesty International USA's Program to Abolish the Death Penalty and remain true to our commitment to international human rights worldwide we miss our comrades like Patrick, and ask his blessing as we commit anew to abolishing the USA Federal Death Penalty. I hope everyone in Patrick's family and all his friends take pride in Patrick's selfless and steadfast work to build a more humane world.

I worked with Patrick for a number of years in Poland. He was always a nice guy to chat with and we had many interesting conversations.I'll always remember him eating his yogurt before classes:)His students and colleagues greatly respected him.I was saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family.

Patrick was an amazing spirit! I was so honored to work with him on Amnesty International's Human Rights Education Committee. He was so dedicated and generous always ready to put in the extra effort to lead a human rights education workshop or give a shoulder to lean on. Lots of love to all of you, who will miss this wonderful light, like I will! XXOO

Patrick was part of human rights education in AIUSA for decades, and understood the centrality of HRE in educating youth in compassion for all. I hope Patrick's colleagues and family will donate his papers to the AIUSA Archives at Columbia University's Center for Human Rights Documentation and Research that contains the AIUSA Archives, by visiting AIUSA.org/about/ArchivesProject online or calling me at 303-258-9246. Patrick was a valued friend and colleague on Amnesty International's Human Rights Education Committee. Over more than a decade we undertook many projects together all over the country: conducting workshops, writing curriculum, and furthering human rights wherever possible. His courage, commitment, and kindness were a comfort and inspiration to us all.
