PATRICK McAVINUE, JR. age 91; beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Stopyak); father of Patrick F. (Donna), Michael A. (Kathy), Christopher S. (Lisa), Francis X., Tina McAvinue and MaryAnn Winkler (Chris); grandfather of Mark A.-deceased, Robert, Stephan, Patrick III, Sean, Aaron, Julia, Kimberly, Caitlin, Jonathan, AnnMarie, Hannah and Sloane; great grandfather of 9; brother of the late Arthur, Thomas, Hanna Darovich, John and Jane Pelligrino; uncle and great uncle of many. U.S. Navy veteran. Pat was a dedicated and devoted insurance agent on the west side of Cleveland since 1958 and a dear companion and friend of Joan Arnold and her family. Passed away April 18, 2023. Funeral Mass Saturday, April 29, St. Angela Merici Church (20970 Lorain Rd. Fairview Park) at 10 A.M. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DRIVE AT PURITAS FRIDAY, APRIL 28, 4-7 P.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, P.O. I will never forget he always had a smile for anyone who was near, and added jokes, that made your laughter louder than you could imagine, he will be sadly missed, and my condolences to Pat and Donna, Patrick and Sean, and the rest of his family.
