Patrick Frederick McDonald, 17 of Marshfield, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Concord, NH June 15, 1988 the son of Martin McDonald of East Machias and Deborah (Paré) McDonald of Marshfield.
Patrick was being educated at the Machias High School where he was due to graduate this spring. He was an avid sports fan and member of the Machias Bulldogs Soccer Team where he was a member of the 2003 team that earned the Class D State Championship. He was also a member of the Baseball Team.
He enjoyed playing all sports with friends and family. He spent a lot of times with friends and family at the Ledge at Six Mile Lake. He also enjoyed spending a lot of time in New Hampshire with family camping and swimming and going to Hampton Beach.
Patrick will be sadly missed by his parents, Martin McDonald and his friend Robin and her son, Kelsey of East Machias, Deborah McDonald and her significant other, Andy Pottle and his mother Sandra Pottle and his children, Mitch and Kallie of Marshfield, a sister, Stephanie McDonald and a brother, Andrew McDonald both of Marshfield, Maternal Grandparents, Dick and Nancy Paré of Derry, NH, a paternal grandmother, Betty McDonald of Machias, a maternal great grandmother, Eleanor Martin of Dracut, MA, several aunts and uncles including, Michael and Jill McDonald of Northfield, Shirley McDonald of East Machias, Luanne Paré of Florida, Mark and Wendy Paré of NH, Sheri and Pat Lahey of NH, Matthew Paré of NH, Christina Paré and her fianc’e John Svenson of NH and David Paré and his friend Bonnie Miner of NH, several cousins, and special friends, Garrett, Isiah, Steve, Eulan and Chase. He will also be missed by the rest of the Senior Class and all of Machias High School.
He was predeceased by a maternal great grandfather, Leon Martin, paternal great grandparents, Herbert and Virginia Foss, paternal grandfather, Frederick McDonald, and an Uncle, Richard Paré.
Services will be held at the Centre Street Congregational Church, Centre Street, Machias on Monday at 10A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may call at the Church on Sunday from 5-8P.M. Burial will follow in the Longfellow Cemetery, Machias.
