Patrick James McNulty

Oh, the green cardigan sweater and the newsroom coffee mug that never met soap and water! Pat was one of the brightest and most insightful on the desk, and certainly the funniest. He was a delight to work with and although it was 20-some years ago, I can still hear his voice and his laugh.

What a great man he was, Our family will miss him greatly.

News of Pat's death was a shock; he was an always appreciated friend during our years at Notre Dame, and added a great bit of Irish-ness to the day. He will be missed my his many ND56 Classmate/Friends.

Sorry to read the passing of Pat, my prayers go out to you Sue and the rest of the family. I enjoyed working with Pat in making up his pages in the back shop.

I was fortunate to work (and play softball and basketball) alongside Pat in the late 1980s and early 1990s. I think anyone who worked with Pat would tell you the same thing: we will always remember and respect his remarkable candor and genuine passion. I think he'd laugh at me for saying that, but it's true. Pat will always have a special place in my memories of working at the Jackson Citizen Patriot.
