Obituary

Peacefully, with his family at his side at Victoria Hospital, London on Thursday, December 11, 2014, Patrick Thomas Moir in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Catherine (nee: Milne) Moir (1974). Beloved father of Tom Moir (Gail), Paul Moir (Carol), Joseph Moir (Alma), Dave Moir (Chris), Trish Bechard (Dave), Mary Gough (Walter), Pat Moir (Susan), Bill Moir (Carolyn), Dianne Armitage (Brad), Andy Moir (Carolyn) and Helen Lade (Mark). Proud grandfather of 31 and great-grandfather of 8. Also survived by his brother Terry Moir, his sisters-in-law Ilene Moir, Marie Moir, Edna Milne and his brother-in-law Everett Muir. Uncle Pat will be missed by many nieces and nephews, his long time neighbours and friends, and his recent friends at the Longworth Retirement Village. Predeceased by his son Daniel (1975), grandson Darryl (1983), brothers George, Joseph, Jack, Victor and Raymond Moir and sisters Myrna Langlois and Wreatha Crump. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. George's Church, (1164 Commissioner's Road W.) on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Monday at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
